I gave the man twenty
Dollars because he lost
That much money.
I said sorry to
Everyone he wronged
Even for you.
I cleaned the house
I’ve never been in it
Before. I killed a mouse.
Apologies here too
For generations of killing
Apologizing for you.
People steal, some kill.
Others indulge, another exceeds.
For all I say
No more will it go on.
We are sorry it is
Done. They never stop.
