What Kind of Bread? The Same?

(YLT) because one bread, one body, are we the many--for we all of the one bread do partake.

Something more for the Church

I passed a road sign that read CHURCH.

i was suprised to find the lord jesus christ's church all in one place. the think is a bit further up the road there was a building that also had a sign on it that read CHURCH; there was not a soul in sight. Read this church...

1Co 10:1 Friends, I want to remind you that all of our ancestors walked under the cloud and went through the sea.
1Co 10:2 This was like being baptized and becoming followers of Moses.
1Co 10:3 All of them also ate the same spiritual food
1Co 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink, which flowed from the spiritual rock that followed them. That rock was Christ.
1Co 10:5 But most of them did not please God. So they died, and their bodies were scattered all over the desert.
1Co 10:6 What happened to them is a warning to keep us from wanting to do the same evil things.
1Co 10:7 They worshiped idols, just as the Scriptures say, "The people sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up to dance around." So don't worship idols.
1Co 10:8 Some of those people did shameful things, and in a single day about twenty-three thousand of them died. Don't do shameful things as they did.
1Co 10:9 And don't try to test Christ, as some of them did and were later bitten by poisonous snakes.
1Co 10:10 Don't even grumble, as some of them did and were killed by the destroying angel.
1Co 10:11 These things happened to them as a warning to us. All this was written in the Scriptures to teach us who live in these last days.
1Co 10:12 Even if you think you can stand up to temptation, be careful not to fall.
1Co 10:13 You are tempted in the same way that everyone else is tempted. But God can be trusted not to let you be tempted too much, and he will show you how to escape from your temptations.
1Co 10:14 My friends, you must keep away from idols.
1Co 10:15 I am speaking to you as people who have enough sense to know what I am talking about.
1Co 10:16 When we drink from the cup that we ask God to bless, isn't that sharing in the blood of Christ? When we eat the bread that we break, isn't that sharing in the body of Christ?
1Co 10:17 By sharing in the same loaf of bread, we become one body, even though there are many of us.

A Letter I feel Prompted to Send Out

Brother or sister in Christ;

I am writing you out of a passion to see God’s Church be one. To see God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. I have prayed and searched that this will come to you in clarity and in peace. I have written similar letters to every body of believers in St. Clair County. This entails the power of language in the creation of division in the church as a whole and its unity.

Acts 2:42-47 gives this description of the church:

42 they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Over the past 15 years I have seen the church of Jesus Christ that I read about in the Bible very differently then it seemed in my reading. I have rarely heard the church called the church, but rather in terms of churches. People refer to their church, our church, and that church. When in truth there is but on church; one church that God demands remain as one body; with Christ as the head.

The origins of the word "church" is such: Middle English "chirche", from Old English "cirice", ultimately from Late Greek "kyriakon", from Greek, neuter of "kyriakos" meaning “of the lord”, from kyrios meaning lord, master. This means when the word church is used in the Bible it speaks of those people who are of the lord Jesus Christ, Christians. The Greek word ekklesia, which is translated church as well, is a combination of the Greek word kaleo (which means to call) and ek, a preposition meaning out or out of. Therefore, ekklesia is properly translated as "called out ones".

So, while the common contemporary understanding of the word "church" is focusing upon a gathering or building, the actual meaning of the word is on our status as followers of Jesus. Within the context of His teachings that we are to be "in the world", but not "of the world"; the application of being "the called out ones" is appropriate. The common usage which empowers the system of “churchianity” is not an appropriate interpretation of "ekklesia" or “kyriakos”. For, the focus is not on the group, nor on the gathering of the group, but upon our status as belonging to the Lord and being called out of worldliness and self life.

Although the Christian Bible says that the church is actually the body of believers, in Jewish times, the temple at Jerusalem held the presence of God in a place called the Holy of Holies. After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit / presence of God dwells within each believer.

I understand that each denomination has particular beliefs that have been passed down throughout the ages. The below chart shows a basic summary of this.

As christians, followers of Jesus Christ, we need to make sure that the body of Christ in in one piece. Paul says in Ephesians 4:1-7:

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

I am writing this with the same passion that Paul had. I urge each of you to identify with the green line on the above chart; the line that comes directly from the early church that was established by Christ; that is not the creation of man. I urge you to take action in your life and in your fellowship.

I would ask that to begin you use the word “church” as it was intended. The church is you and me, your congregation and all of our friends who trust Jesus Christ as their lord and Savior. Don’t use the word to say my church, our church, or at church. Language is powerful; Look at what the human baby has become by being defined as a fetus. God created the world by speaking. Help create the church as it was intended. And if you are bold change your fellowships name to exclude the word church.

I love you brother or sister, God loves you to. Be blessed.

Poem for the .... THIS IS XPLICIT!

DON'T READ IF YOU ARE HAVING A GOOD DAY. IT WILL RUIN IT. ALL FACTS IN POEM ARE TRUE.

Pains a Piss Off

When I was in Bible College I sometimes

Wrote in a code language

That was made up by me and a friend

When we were in our teens.

I used this language to write down

To put on paper the thoughts and feelings

That I did not want others to know

That I chose to hide from all but god.

One boy I knew at Bible College couldn’t understand

So he was made both mad and jealous.

So across my page he penned in his own unsteady hand;

Unsteadied from too many days of injecting the word

(His word was ganja), and from this combination he wrote

“No pornographic writings”.

A thought of the pain inside

Of the pain inside of their shared

Yet unknown pain so prolonging

And propagating the proliferation of

Pain in the lives of the prey and

The pain inside the pawns used as

Persuasion, used as perversion a perpetual

Penetration infesting and festering the pain

Pushing both prey and predators

Pushing them to pervert the populace

With performances of perversion pacifying

Their pain.

Today I met with five victims,

Victims of various sex crimes.

One child was thirteen, her variety was rape

And she vented in systematic sex from similar souls.

Two was a child of fifteen who had been

As the term is molested. A fifteen year old who’s

Natural father had betrayed his role by

Soliciting sex from similar girls

Fifteen and under; she thought they were baby sitters.

So she sought safety with some one similar, an uncle,

Who secretly video taped her having sex.

Three was thirteen sickened by the pain

Of sex she molested her siblings and sexed her relatives.

She tried to cease the existence of her soul;

She couldn’t succeed.

Four was sixteen but seemed to be seven.

She was seized and forced to have sex with

A slow relative at the age of twelve.

She has since had sex several times.

She thinks she’s crazy.

Five sought after significance in sex as well

But she was soiled from birth by a mother

Who forfeited her role and had gainful employment

As a whore who gave her daughter the human immune deficiency virus.

I’m not in Bible College anymore

So now I’m writing pornographic writings

But I’m not using code.

I’m using real words and real characters

That I hope make a sound.

For everyone to read for anyone to perceive

The pain that pursued these five souls.

This five lovely people to be used as prey by predators

As pawns of pain inflicting souls who did not find healing.

God help them.

A Thought i had after not sleeping 24 hours

As we prayed at church we layed hands on a man and asked got to heal his back (he had a pending surgury). Then we asked god that if he chose not to heal him that he would guide the doctors hands. This was my thought at the time.

God heal this man's back- and just incase you can't lets say you helped the doctors.

God please heal this man, but if you don't we don't want you to look bad so well say you used the doctors instead of a direct healing.

of course i know that all good and perfect things come from god, but let's say what the spirit would have us say and let's not cover for god- he can handle it.

A couple wakes up, and both find that they are fully dressed. They joke each other about being drunk, but most of the joking stops when they realize that they are not in their own apartment room in New York City.

They recall the night before and try to figure out their circumstances, but their plotting is interrupted many times by the woman's constant joking about the man's drunkenness the night before. She then recalls that "somewhere about Riverdale", something came over the top of the car (we now know that she was driving because the man was too drunk to drive) and, it, whatever it was, was dark. The woman doesn't remember anything after that. The man suggests that possibly a wreck occurred, but she doesn't believe that to be even possible.

The man finally suggests that "another car" plowed into them and that they had been taken in by the owners of "the other car", and that breakfast would be waiting downstairs for them.

They both walk downstairs only to find an empty kitchen! When the look around, all they can find is fake "stage" food. Surprised by this, they attempt to open the drawers, only to find that they too are fake! Finally, the man tries the phone, but learns that it isn't even wired into the wall! During all of this, they hear a little girl's laugh occasionally in the background.

They exit the house, and hear the same little girl laughing that they heard while they were in the kitchen. It is really starting to bother them now.

They wander around the town in hopes of finding someone (another person) in the area. Finally, without any luck of finding a person, the woman sees a solitary squirrel, and goes over to touch it. But when she does . . . the squirrel falls off the limb! They realize that it is a fake, stuffed squirrel!

The couple finally decides that all the neighbors must be at church since it is Sunday. But when upon arriving at the church, they realize that it is completely empty, just like all the houses in the neighborhood. The man rings the bell, but still, nobody comes. They hear the girl again.

They now begin their search for anything that could be real. The man points out a tree, and explains how it must be real. They both rejoice at finally seeing something that is real and not a prop, until the man pats the tree and it falls over on it's side! It was a prop too!

As they go to sit down and light a cigarette, the cigarette that is thrown onto the ground ignites and sets the grass on fire! When the fire is stopped, it can be seen that all the grass was actually paper mache!

The couple keeps wandering through the streets of the town, finding a car with a mannequin inside it. The man begins to think that it might be some kind of test or joke. But, he gives up that idea eventually.

They both sit down and discuss the events of the previous night. And then, the girl begins to think that possibly, theey are both dead . . . and that they are both in hell. But then, both of them hear a train whistle!

They run to the train station, and hop on the train immediately! Theys ee the sign for the town before the train departs . . . it says, "Centerville". While they are on the train, they discuss the crazy town, and also talk about how great it is going to be to be back at home.

But then . . . the train stops at it's next destination. The same sign for 'Centerville" is again visible! The train went in a complete circle!

Desperate, the two decide to walk along the main road until they reach the next town. But while they are walking, a giant shadow comes down out of the sky and moves down towards them!

A giant arm can be seen picking the couple up and holding them in it's hand! The little girl that had been laughing is now visible, and it is now clear that the whole town is actually just a "play town" for the little girl!

A woman comes into the room (we cannot see her face, only hear her voice), and tells the girl to be very careful with the playthings, simply because the girl's father had brought them all the way from Earth!

The girl sets the couple down back in the town, and they run off.

Used to be a Forward

Something to Think About....

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
